The fuel oil is not pure. There are not only solid particles but also some water. There are three sources of water:

1. In the production and transportation of fuel oil, some water carried by the production and transportation machine will be integrated into the fuel oil, resulting in some water in the fuel oil;

2. During storage, moisture condenses in the mailbox due to the change of day and night temperature. Generally, 7.5G water / 100L will condense and melt into the fuel oil at most;

3. Some water vapor is mixed into the fuel through the mailbox ventilation system, so basically, the general ventilation system should not be arranged in the cab or under the vehicle. At the same time, there should be a protective cover at the inlet of the ventilation system to prevent water from entering.

Hazards of water in fuel oil

As we all know, the engine generates power because of combustion, and the fuel is the combustor. If the fuel contains water, the combustion is insufficient. Therefore, if the fuel contains water, there are three main hazards:

1. Engine carbon deposit: if the fuel contains certain moisture, it is easy to produce carbon deposit after combustion. The carbon deposit accumulates in the engine, resulting in insufficient power of the engine, which will be seriously scrapped and the engine needs to be replaced, so the cost is relatively large;

2. Fuel consumption: because the fuel oil contains water, it causes insufficient combustion. To produce the same power, more fuel is required than sufficient combustion, that is, fuel oil. Therefore, containing water will cost more fuel;

3. After a long time, the engine parts and components will be rusted, and there will be a lot of water inside the engine. After a long time, the engine parts and components will rust.
