Introduction to the working principle of fuel water separator

1. The oily sewage is sent to the oil-water separator by the sewage pump. After passing through the diffusion nozzle, the large particle oil droplets float on the top of the left oil collecting chamber;

2. The sewage containing small oil drops enters the corrugated plate coalescer in the lower part, where the oil drops form larger oil drops to the right oil collecting chamber;

3. The sewage containing oil droplets with smaller particles passes through the fine filter, the impurities in the water go out, and then enter the fiber polymerizer in turn so that the small oil droplets are aggregated into larger oil droplets and separated from the water;

4. After separation, the clean water is discharged through the discharge port, the dirty oil in the left and right oil collecting chambers are automatically discharged through the solenoid valve, and the dirty oil separated from the fiber polymerizer is discharged through the manual valve.

Some foreign advanced manufacturers already have the function of automatic drainage. The filter cup under the oil-water separator is equipped with a water level sensor. When the water level reaches a certain value, it will prompt that there is water on the computer display on the instrument panel, and the oil-water separator must drain. The drainage operation is also very convenient. After parking, pull on the handbrake, turn off the engine, turn the ignition key to the driving position, and press the switch on the instrument panel. It only takes about 18 seconds to complete the drainage.

3. Heating function is selected in the north

In addition, cold weather is also easy to causes damage to the water under the ponding cup. Especially in the northern region, many users put on thick cotton clothes for the oil-water separator to prevent the oil-water separator from freezing. However, for the sake of insurance, it is recommended to choose the oil-water separator with an electric heating function.
